BIRTHDAY NUMBERS WIN COUPLE $25,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE!
WALLINGFORD, Conn. — June 23, 2025— It took the whole family to win.
That's how Dawn and George M. of Wolcott, Conn., described their play experience after matching five numbers to win the second prize of $25,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE. The couple opted for the lump-sum payout of $390,000.
Married for more than 50 years, Dawn and George say they’ve played Lucky for Life since its debut in March 2009. Each time, they stuck to their lucky numbers—birthdays of their children, each other, and other loved ones.
Their persistence paid off during the June 21, 2025, drawing when the numbers 08, 10, 22, 26, and 28 were drawn.
“I couldn’t believe it,” said George M. “It finally happened!”
The couple purchased their winning draw ticket at Gas Man & Store 40 on Meriden Road in Waterbury.
For selling the winning ticket, Gas Man & Store 40 will receive a $2,500 bonus—one of the many benefits of being a CT Lottery retail partner.
The couple plans to use their winnings to help with upcoming wedding plans for their children and to take a vacation.
Congratulations to the winners!
