Colchester Retailer Sells $9.4 Million Winning Lotto!® Jackpot Ticket for September 29 Drawing

Wallingford, CT / October 2, 2023 – Of the 8,440 winning tickets sold for the Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, Lotto! jackpot drawing, a winning “Quick Pick” ticket sold at Gibbs in Colchester, contained the six-number match worth $9.4 million!

The winning Lotto! numbers for Sept. 29, were 6 - 7 - 15 - 22 - 28 - 42.

The Lotto jackpot is payable as a 21-year annuity or a one-time cash lump-sum. On Monday, October 2, the lucky Plainfield winner wasted no time to claim the jackpot’s cash lump-sum prize of $6,483,618 (before taxes).

For its part in selling the winning ticket, Gibbs will receive a $10,000 retailer commission.

The overall chance of winning a prize in Lotto! is 1 in 39.3. The chance of winning the jackpot is 1 in approximately 7.1 million.

Players for this drawing have 180 calendar days or until March 27, 2024, to claim their winning tickets.
