Greenwich Retailer Sells “$365,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE” Top-Prize-Winning Lucky for Life® Ticket for March 4 Drawing

Rocky Hill, CT – March 6, 2023 – The CT Lottery’s “Lucky for Life®” draw game created its first “$365,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE” top-prize winner of the year on Saturday, March 4. The top prize winning ticket was sold at Byram Smoke Shop at 111 Mill St., Greenwich.

This is the third time since the Lucky for Life® draw game debuted as a multistate game in January 2015 that Connecticut has had a top-prize win. The game’s second prize - $25,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE - has been won 46 times in Connecticut.

The winning Lucky for Life® numbers drawn on March 4, 2023, were 4 - 7 - 15 - 17 - 30, Lucky Ball number 5. In total, there were 5,830 winning tickets sold in Connecticut for that drawing. Winners for the March 4, 2023, Lucky for Life® drawing have until Thursday, August 31, 2023, to claim their prize before their ticket expires.

Byram Smoke Shop will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of the winning ticket.

“For Life” prizes are payable for the length of a winner’s natural life. At minimum, 20 years’ worth of payments are guaranteed, although payments could last much longer, based on the lifespan of the winner.

If the annuity prize option is chosen, the minimum guaranteed amount the Lucky for Life® top-prize winner could receive is $7,300,000. The top-prize “Cash Option” is worth $5,750,000.

Lucky for Life® drawings occur every night at approximately 10:30 PM, and tickets cost $2 each. The overall odds of winning a Lucky for Life® prize are 1 in 7.8. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 30,821,472, and the odds of winning the second prize are 1 in 1,813,028.
