CT Lottery’s Lotto!® Jackpot Drawing Creates Its Fifth Millionaire Winner of the Year!

Aug. 1, 2022 – While all eyes were seemingly transfixed on the $1.337 billion Mega Millions® jackpot drawing last Friday night, the CT Lottery’s Lotto! game quietly created its fifth millionaire winner of the year!

Of the 6,315 winning tickets sold for the July 29, 2022, drawing, one contained a six-number match worth $1.8 million (a lump-sum value of $1,378,149).

The winning Lotto! numbers for July 29 were, 2 - 6 - 7 - 26 - 28 - 30.

For its part in selling the jackpot-winning Lotto! ticket, Saybrook Wine & Spirits at 350 Middlesex Turnpike in Old Saybrook will receive a $10,000 retailer commission.

Since the beginning of this year, CT’s Lotto jackpot has been won five times on winning tickets sold in:

• Waterford: $2.9 million, Jan. 11
• South Windsor: $1.3 million, Feb. 8
• Waterbury: $2.0 million, Apr. 26
• Norwalk: $1.3 million, May 24
• Old Saybrook: $1.8 million, July 29

The overall chance of winning a prize in Lotto! is 1 in 39.3. The chance of winning the jackpot is 1 in approximately 7.1 million.

Players for the July 29 Lotto! drawing have 180 calendar days (until Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023) to claim their winning tickets.
