Last Night’s Harvest Moon Delivers Two Colossal Prize Wins in Wallingford and South Glastonbury

On this first day of fall, two incredibly lucky ticketholders could be celebrating their life-changing windfalls as a result of last night’s Lucky for Life and Mega Millions drawings. Check your tickets—you could be one of them!

The first is a $1,000,000 Mega Millions winner with a five-number match purchased at The Pit Stop, located at 66 Woodhouse Avenue in Wallingford. The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on September 21 were 36 - 41 - 45 - 51 - 56, Mega Ball number 13 and the Megaplier® number was 3.

The other win of the night was from Lucky for life, a second-prize of $25,000 a year for life. The prize-winning ticket was purchased at Richards Mobil, located at 890 Main Street in South Glastonbury. The winning Lucky for Life numbers drawn on September 21 were 1 - 5 - 37 - 44 - 48 and the Lucky Ball was 6.

The minimum guaranteed amount a Lucky for Life second prize winner could receive is $500,000 ($25,000 a year for 20 years), but winners who live longer than that will receive prize payments for the remainder of their natural life. The second prize “Cash Option” is worth $390,000.

Both winners for the September 21, 2021, Lucky for Life and Mega Millions drawings have until Sunday, March 20, 2022, to claim their prizes before their tickets expire.
